9 months Sylvia - my Maine Coon mix

6 months has passed and now my Sylvia is 9 months old. She's healthy and still playful. Her weight was up and down all the time. How to maintain her weight? She does eat a lot though. She eats 4 times a day :P

I was hoping she could grow bigger but it seems that her growth kind of stuck when she was 7 months. Probably she had her mother's (persian) genes more than her dad. She has a long body about 157cm from head to butt, and her legs is like a normal cat. Will she still grow?

She's relaxing in my living room with tight face, cause she hates my camera :P

She's sitting in front of my pc, hoping I will give my attention to her or she can play with my monitor when I move around my mouse.

Another tight face... I will try to snap her cute face with big eyes mercy look one day.

My Sylvia Maine Coon Mix

My cute naughty Sylvia a Maine Coon Mix is already 6 months old. She's healthy and strong, playful and so pampered.

Having a Mix purebred for the first time is quite challenging for me. They are more sensitives and fragile than a street cat. One new thing I learned is Do Not simply change the food as she can get stomach upset easily. I thought of changing her food with different brand every month since each brand has it's own nutritions and benefits. I gave her Royal Canin, Science Plan and Iams. Currently I just stick to Iams.

She likes to play hide and seek and catch rope!

She wakes me up for breakfast (she will keep kissing my cheek and lay her body on top of my face if I ignore her) at 4 am!

She sleeps a lot during day time and play a lot during nite time.

She doesn't like to drink from her cup, she prefers water in the bathroom (I dont know why). She likes to eat anchovy!

She will say "Ngeng Ngeng" when she's really hungry - weird sounds from a cat.

Her body getting longer than normal 6 months old kitten but her legs just like normal kitten. I wish she will grow more.

Hehe.. presented to you my dearest, beautiful cute little Sylvia De La Rosa.

I'm totally out of my mind! I don't know why i'm so tense last week and all i can think off is to have my own purebred Maine coon. After a few days of recce, Maine coon is totally out of my budget approx Rm4000 and above. Crazy right? So i recce for a Maine Coon Mix (Persian + Maine Coon) with average price is Rm1500.

After meeting with the breeder and so many sleepless night (actually 2 nite only) thinking of this cat, i bought her last Friday :p with a good offer Rm1100 & free small cage. Hahaha I still can't believe i bought this expensive cat!

One of the main reason i bought her was because I love cats and I want to breed her. Maine coon is hot in the market currently, for those who can't afford pure breed Maine Coon, they will buy Maine Coon mix. So i want to try to venture into this market. I can foresee my future now, doing things i love, business and having lots of animals, i want to open my own cattery :P

Look at her, she's so sweet and loving. The first day she arrived, she doesn't scared at all, she don't stop playing for hours. I rarely see her sleeping.

She's just 3 months old, and look how big she is, i really hope she can be as big as real Maine Coon. I'm so happy now.
